Proving yourself

An increasing number of companies will give applicants a trial run for a couple of weeks to see how they do . This technique tends to be limited to fast-learn jobs like café or shop work where talent, or lack of it, will emerge quite quickly . Unfortunately, the same will hardly apply to jobs like accountancy or marketing where there is a much slower buildup of basic skills . So how can you prove to the interviewer that you have what it takes? The answer is that you will stand a much better chance of getting the job if you're the living, breathing epitome of all the skills required .
