Using confident body language

Stature is really important in conveying confidence. When you're feeling exposed, you have a tendency to cower and cover your vulnerable areas, for example your throat or genitals, which in turn makes you look like you lack confidence (see Figure 5-3).

Instead, stand with your head up, shoulders back, stomach tucked in, bottom tucked under, and eyes straight ahead to look super confident - see Figure 5-4.

Eye contact is key to looking confident. Avoiding someone's gaze makes you look shifty or untrustworthy, and you won't be ( ¬°III ) completely aware of what's going on. Maintain eye contact to both V^B^ look and feel more confident.
